Facebook Ad Campaign + Dashboard


Challenges

11:11 Projects approached Jacker for help with a Facebook donation campaign for a local ArtWalk they were sponsoring. They were looking to start their advertising journey on Facebook with this initial campaign that would help them gather data. They were looking to understand if Facebook and Instagram alone were a good place for them to focus campaign dollars budgeted to increase donations. The brand had two very different audiences on their Facebook and Instagram business pages and were not sure yet if both or either would be make up an audience of active donors. 

11:11 Wilshire looking to start a Facebook ad campaign that would target both a local and previously engage audience. They were hoping to build awareness around their local events and acquire donations from this audience to support the nonprofit’s local beautification project. 

Solution

Jacker Digital was able to help 11:11 Project build a 30-day campaign across three ads that would drive traffic to their informational landing page about their event. The ads would later retarget web traffic and video engagement in an effort to gather donations. A series of videos provided by the brand where used to move users through the campaign. To help 11:11 Project easily keep track of their campaign progress, a dashboard was built using DataStudio that would quickly showcase all of the key campaign metrics.

Although the ad campaign was not successful in reaching the monetary donation goal, the campaign was very successful at gathering data and at providing the brand insight into both their Facebook and Instagram audiences. Several of the ads were successful at driving quality traffic to the website landing pages and performed with a click through rate above industry benchmarks. The nonprofit was also able to learn behavioral patterns about the local audience they serve and gather meta-data that they use in future retargeting campaigns.
