Challenges
Creative Director and choreographer Kevin Maher came back to Jacker Digital to produce another installment of his virtual event. The workshop, The Smart Artist, features top industry professionals who share their journey and answer questions from guest. The workshop was scheduled to happen one year after the previous workshop.
With the movement back to in-person, it will be harder this time around to gather registrations. The last workshop was put on during a period when many people were on lockdown. Another of the returning challenges that the workshop was facing was making sure to take advantage of Kevin’s personal audience, 40K+ instagram followers on a verified account, while keeping the main hub for information an the branded workshop social accounts. The website would also need to be updated to include current information about the show and be serve to have a simple system for buying tickets.
Solution
Jacker Digital was happy to with Kevin to develop The Smart Artist: Season 2 workshop. Similar to the previous workshop, we took a fully integrated approach across several channels to produce a successful event. With this approach we were able to grow several of the brand’s assets. Utilizing emails gathered from the previous event, we were able to send targeted emails to a base of subscribers who has already shown previous interest, leading to high open and click rates. The social campaign included content creation for both paid and organic posting. Utilizing sponsored reels and story videos through Kevin’s instagram account, we were able to gather high impressions to help spread awareness about the event.
Jacker Digital was able to set up an additional revenue stream for ticket registrations by developing a discount campaign by partnering businesses who mentor dance students . By offering unique discounts, we were able to increase attendance and build lasting business relationships. Users who purchased the event were entered into a series automation that provided them meeting information about the event, invited them to a private discord, and offered a replay for download. The event was another success at creating revenue for Kevin and re-engaging the customers from the previous event.
